Who We Are

SunnySide Day Care was established in 2015. We are a large-capacity in-home childcare facility conveniently located approximately 1.6 miles from Onaga Elementary School, 1.5 miles from Joshua Springs Calvary School, and 4.7 miles from Yucca Valley Elementary School in the city of Yucca Valley, California.

SunnySide Day Care was founded due to the love we have for children and their immense curiosity, as well as their desire to learn. We focus on a variety of Faith-based and Developmental Play-based activities to cultivate an environment of learning and curiosity for your child.

Our staff at SunnySide Day Care is CPR Certified and has first Aid Training and Early Childhood Education. Our highly qualified team is dedicated to providing the best care for your child.

Mission Statement

We offer childcare for families looking to provide their children with a loving and safe environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that prepare them for a successful and happy future.

Vision Statement

We envision a future where every child entrusted to us flourishes in a nurturing atmosphere, equipped with essential life skills and empowered to embrace their fullest potential.

Meet the Owner
Martha Lobos

Martha Lobos was born in El Salvador and migrated to the United States at the age of 8 years old. She has worked with infants, toddlers, school-age kids, and kids with disabilities. She has over 28 years of experience. She has worked in Los Angeles for Head Start, Little School of the Desert in 29 Palms private Christian school, Mops, Valley Community Chapel here, and the Morongo Unified School District.

She enjoys working with children very much. She is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. She drives school-age children to and from school if needed, helps them with homework, and potty-train toddlers.

She believes that children need love, affection, discipline, and structure. They need to learn respect and manners at a very young age and most importantly, learn about the love of God.
